thinkers like karl marx are right in the sense that they were well aware, and exposed the reality, of how everything in the world, including capital accumulation, functions under the orders of selfish gene and natural selection. what makes such thinkers great accordingly is they maintained that the road towards the betterment of mankind would be so cruel and inhumane when pursuant to this vast system of intelligence of nature, and that as members of a civilized human race, we are able to make our conscious choice whether to live by the natural current or attempt to build a world where nothing has to be "used" as a sacrifice for any so-called "privileged" thing.
